For A Moments Peace

Give me wings so I may fly, and put my racing mind at ease to recline in a summer breeze while winter rages on in me. Above the world I can escape; I'd be a weightless refugee. My mind would find sweet harmony within the clouds surrounding me. But surely in the winds, I know such lacey wings would surely break. I'd sigh and cry, tremble and quake, then plumit back to Earth again. A fool's request this seems to be, but still, I pray, remember me... Please give me wings so i may fly, although my voyage be not long regardless if I'm right or wrong, that I may have a Moment's Peace.
